Flights
Carlos Ibañez international airport, located 20 km away from Punta Arenas, receives regular flights from Santiago and Puerto Montt, capital of the Lagos region.
The airport has buses, mini buses and cabs that can take you to Punta Arenas. The trip lasts 30 minutes.
There are also regional flights to the cities of Porvenir and Puerto Williams, from where passengers can take connections to the cities of the Argentine Patagonia. |

Land-buses
It’s a very long trip through the 255 Monte Aymond – Punta Arenas route. It lasts approximately 36 hours and it’s necessary to cross to Argentina. You must arrive to Osorno, capital of the province bearing the same name in the Lagos region, located more than 900 km. south of Santiago. The terminal of buses departing to Punta Arenas is located here. |
